John’s Senior Shoot
Knowing that John and family was hoping for a fun, and urban style shoot I decided to use Hillyard. Hillyard is full and rich of such great beauty, colors and variety. Starting near the trains on the train rail ties was fun, with the colors the sunrise and the crisp morning air. While smiles were flowing, and we were having fun we admired the views and the vast amount options to capture.
Moving on we started finding buildings that were beautiful backdrops. Brick, old wood, ornate doorways. With these they came light over top of us shimmering through the streets. Capturing what beauties the Hillyard area has for everyone to enjoy.
John was quite, took direction and had fun during the session. We had four kids with us so they were making things even more fun, they were put to work carrying all of the equipment and they were a huge help.
From the train tracks, down the allies, crossing the streets countless times, looking for stairs. It wasn’t until we were almost to the point of giving up that we found some. They were old broken down yet perfectly placed for us. At the end we all had a great time, and walked back to our vehicles laughing, smiling and talking about all the great shoots.
