Driving out to the Elk Fire station was a peaceful and serine area. Getting to the Fire Station we had an hour to do the shoot before the baby shower would start. It was a beautiful location, Ashley and her family were also great.
The sun high overhead we got started trying to wrangle in the light into complimentary poses, and how to make the light best in the shutter. The kids were having so much fun and their personalities were so much fun to capture, contain and bring to light. Sean, Ashley’s husband was very helpful, trying to smile when asked and not smile when asked. Which if you have ever been taking photos, trying to go from a smile to a straight face is harder than people realize.
Gathering the families love was easy as you could see that they really did love each other. They were excited, and expecting of adding the little girl Hadley to the family. I’m sure Ashely was ready to have another girl in the family. She was glowing with happiness the entire time. She was radiant and very very easy going and we captured very beautiful moments.
